MUSKETS & PIKES

The Mackays, on joining the Swedish Service, were given 8 ells or 4.8 meters of grey cloth and the men were selected. Big, strong men were given Harness and a 5.4 meter Pike.  The men who could shoot were given a Musket, the rest were used for light infantry.
