Mabel E. MacKay 1916 - 2007

Mabel E. Mackay, of Bradenton, Florida, widow of the late Kenneth L. MacKay,
Honorary Life Member of the Clan Mackay Society and long time Florida Commissioner, 
passed away November 19, 2007 after a short illness.  

She was also the mother of James T. MacKay, current Florida Commissioner and Southeast Region 
Vice-President.

Mrs. MacKay was born Christmas day, 1916, in Little Falls, New Jersey, and grew up in
Segreganset, Massachusetts, graduating from Taunton High School in 1934.

She moved with her family to Florida in 1948.  In addition to son James, she is survived by
son Alan MacKay of Weston, Florida, daughter Betty Souther of Saint Simons Island, Georgia, 
ten grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
